Fight Chix Candy Land Fashion Show was a huge Success

It was a rainy May night in Chicago and we prepped for the Fight Chix Candyland Fashion Show at Spy Bar. For this event we teamed up with NeilK Events with the goal of raising money for Children’s Memorial Hospital. Spy Bar is a favorite bar for MMA and UFC after parties and a location Fight Chix will hit whenever we do an event in Chicago. Fighters like Andre Arlovski, Jeff Curran, Bart Palaszewski, Traci Lee, Donald Cerrone, Rashad Evans and so many more have made Spy Bar the place to be after fights.

Spy Bar was getting crowded early for this event. We had over 260 people on the guest list and at 9pm there was already a crowd taking advantage of the open bar and Fight Chix themed photo booth, provided by Shutterbox. Behind the scenes photographers Paul M. Weltlich, Darel White and Dean Reid, as well as videography by Ty Kyu…all capturing the chaos of hair, makeup, Fight Chix clothes and our awesome models! By 12:30 Spy Bar was packed and the show kicked off. The Candy Land theme was in full effect with balloons, and Candy Land like elevated runway and some sick beats. Elisabeth, Josie and Caitlyn did a fantastic job with the production and the crowd enjoyed every minute of it. The show ended with the models all taking a curtain call and finished with Elisabeth Nuesser, the co-founder and CEO of Fight Chix, taking a bow with the models.

After the show the party kicked up to the next level with all the models slipping into their party dresses and meeting Neil K and the Fight Chix crew in the VIP for bottle service. It gets a little hazy after that, but lets just say we partied until the sun came up. Special thanks to Neil K and his team of photographers, makeup artists and stylist, and the models…and of course to Elisabeth, Josie and Caitlyn, for creating another night to remember.
